ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS DITINJAU DARI GAYA BELAJAR

Abstract


This research aims to know about 10thgrade student’s critical thinking mathematics ability and difficulty student’s of test critical thinking mathemtics ability based on learning style. This type of research is qualitatif with descriptive research method. The technique data collection is done by using critical thinking mathematics ability test,  learning style questionnaire and interview. The sources of the data used are 10th grade student’s of MIPA 6  Senior High School 5 Tasikmalaya academic year 2017/2018. The technique of analysis is data reduction, data display and conclusion. The result shows that: visual learners are able to identify the problems, make the conclusions generally and tend to be meticulous to detail, often answer with a short yes or no and often know what to say but not able to choose words. Auditorial learners are able to identify problems, make troubleshooting steps well and able to make generalizations of conclusions and tend to be difficult to write, but great in telling stories, and have problems with visual work. Kinesthetic learners are able to identify problems, reason reasonably, tend to learn through manipulation and practice, prefer to use exploration-based ways, talk slowly, always orient on physic, and move a lot. The difficulties experienced by visual learners are less precise on calculation and translating matter. The auditorial learners are less able to translate the problem well, less precise, and are difficult on calculating the root form. Kinesthetic learners are less precise in interpreting the problem situation and difficult in mastering the concept.
