IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ARIAS UNTUK MENGEKSPLOR KEMAMUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIK DAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL

Abstract


The purpose of this study is ideal completeness of mathematical communication skills and social skills of students who use the ARIAS learning model and analyze the mathematical communication skills of students in each criterion of social skills. The method used is a sequential axplanatory combination method. The population is all students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya. Sampling uses cluster random sampling technique, class XI MIPA 5 uses the ARIAS learning model. The subjects of this study were 4 students from class XI MIPA 5 purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques carry out tests of mathematical communication skills, spread social skills questionnaires and interviews. The research instruments were the test questions of mathematical communication skills, social skills questionnaires and researchers. Data analysis techniques to test hypotheses, namely the proportion test, to answer the research questions, namely questionnaire analysis of the results of research and analysis of mathematical communication skills. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students using the ARIAS achieved ideal completeness, the social skills of students included in the criteria of highly skilled and skilled, the results of the tests of mathematical communication skills of social skills criteria had similarities and differences . Students with highly skilled criteria solve problems equipped with other alternatives in the process of completion but there are fewer errors in the writing process. Students with skilled criteria are able to solve the problem but there are fewer mistakes in the writing process.
