PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PADA MATERI LAPISAN BUMI DAN BENCANA

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on cognitive learning outcomes on disaster mitigation material in MTs Legokjawa Pangandaran and the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on motivation to learn on disaster mitigation materials in MTs Legokjawa Pangandaran. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The population used in this study were all class VII MTs of Legokjawa, Pangandaran Regency with a sample of 2 classes taken by cluster random sampling, namely class VII-A by 25 people and class VII-B by 25 people. Collection using tests of student cognitive learning outcomes and questionnaires to measure student learning motivation. The data analysis technique used is the independent sample t-test with a significant level (α) = 5%. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that the t test value of 5.598 obtained significance in the equal variances assumed column of 0,000 which means that there is an influence of the PBL model on motivation to learn disaster mitigation material in class VII MTs Legokjawa Pangandaran and the t test value of 2.897 obtained significance in the equal variances column assumed of 0.006 which means that there is an influence of the PBL model on cognitive learning outcomes on disaster mitigation material in class VII MTs Legokjawa Pangandaran
