Gaya Belajar , Self efficacy dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis

Abstract


This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of learning style on mathematical reasoning abilities, to determine whether or not there is an influence of self-efficacy on mathematical reasoning abilities and to determine whether or not there is an interaction effect of learning styles and self-efficacy on mathematical reasoning abilities. This research is a quantitative research with ex post facto research method. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sukahening. The sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique and the selected students were class VIII A, totaling 22 students and class VIII B, totaling 20 students. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires and tests. The instruments used in this research are learning style questionnaires, self efficacy questionnaires and mathematical reasoning ability test questions. The data analysis technique used two-way ANOVA. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is an influence of learning style on mathematical reasoning ability; (2) there is an effect of self efficacy on mathematical reasoning abilities and (3) there is an interaction effect between learning styles and self efficacy on mathematical reasoning abilities.
