Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Literasi Numerasi
Abstract
The aims of this research is to describe students’ mathematical connection abilities in solving numeratical literacy problems. This research is qualitative research with an exploratory method. The data collection techniques were through mathematical counsel ability test questions and interviews. The research instrument involves the researcher as a key instrument and numeratical literacy problem to measuer the ability of mathematical connections. The subject of this research consisting of 4 students at SMP Negeri 15 Tasikmalaya with high, medium, and low mathematical connection abilities. The results of this research show that: (1) high category mathematical connection abilities students were able to meet all indicators of mathematical connection abilities; (2) medium category mathematical connection abilities students were only able to meet the indicators of connections between mathematical concepts and the connection of mathematical concepts with problems in daily life; (3) low category mathematical connection abilities students were only able to meet one indicator, namely the indicator of mathematical connection ability or only the indicator of the connection mathematical concepts with problems in daily life.
