Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Intuitif Peserta Didik Ditinjau Dari Kecerdasan Logis Matematis

Abstract


Intuitive thinking ability is the ability to understand or solve mathematical problems instinctively without a clear logical explanation. One of the factors that influences this is mathematical logical intelligence. Considering this, it is necessary to analyze students' bright thinking abilities in terms of mathematical logistics intelligence. This research uses an exploratory qualitative method. Data collection techniques consisted of intuitive thinking ability tests, mathematical logical intelligence questionnaires, and interviews. The subjects of this study students of class VIII K of SMP Negeri 6 Tasikmalaya which amounted to 21 people with subjects taken in each category of high, medium and low mathematical logical intelligence. Based on the research results of study, the intuitive thinking ability of subjects with high mathematical logical intelligence is able to fulfill all indicators of intuitive thinking ability, subjects with moderate mathematical logical intelligence are unable to fulfill the indicators of visualizing the problem in the problem, while subjects who have low mathematical logical intelligence are unable to fulfill the indicators of calculating the use of concepts well so that produces inaccurate answers
