Profil Kecemasan Matematis Peserta Didik SMA Negeri Ditinjau Berdasarkan Kelas Peminatan di Kota Tasikmalaya

Abstract


This study aims to determine the profile of students' mathematical anxiety based on specialization classes in public high schools in Tasikmalaya City and to find out the differences in mathematical anxiety based on specialization classes at the public high school level in Tasikmalaya City. This research is a quantitative research using survey method. The research design used ex post facto design. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews with the instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire. The results showed that: (1) Mathematical anxiety of students in science specialization classes tends not to feel anxious about math while students in social studies specialization classes tend to be anxious about math. (2) There is a significant difference in mathematical anxiety between students of science and social studies specialization classes at the high school level in Tasikmalaya City.
