Guru Matematika Berfilsafat: Menggabungkan Logika dan Etika dalam Proses Pembelajaran melalui Pendekatan Konstruktivisme

Abstract


ABSTRACT

 

A philosophical approach to learning mathematics can help enrich students' learning experiences and integrate mathematics teaching with ethical aspects in real life. A mathematics teacher who philosophizes can integrate logic (rational and systematic thinking) with ethics (moral and value considerations) in the learning process. This research aims to offer strategies for teachers to teach mathematics by not only emphasizing analytical skills (logic), but also the development of social and ethical values with a constructivist approach that can prepare students to become better thinkers morally and intellectually. This research method uses a literature review with a qualitative approach. The research results show that the constructivist approach is effective in connecting logic and ethics in the mathematics learning process. This approach encourages students to actively construct their own knowledge, both in terms of mathematical understanding and in considering the ethical implications of using mathematics.
