Pengembangan Bahan Ajar pada Materi Aritmatika Sosial Berbasis Smart Apps Creator Berbantuan Kahoot untuk Mengeksplor Kemampuan Representasi Matematis

Abstract


This research aims to develop teaching materials on social arithmetic material based on Smart Apps Creator with the help of Kahoot to explore mathematical representation capabilities and also to see the effectiveness of using these teaching materials. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and test questions (pretest and posttest). The research instruments used were material expert assessment sheets, media expert assessment sheets, student response questionnaire sheets, and test question sheets. This research data was obtained from two material experts, two media experts, 10 students in class VIII A of the Bojong Islamic Foundation Tasikmalaya Middle School, and 25 students in class VIII B of the Bojong Islamic Foundation Tasikmalaya Middle School. This research produces teaching materials that can be used via Android. Based on the research results, the teaching materials developed were declared "very appropriate" with several improvements. Then the student response to small-scale implementation got a percentage of 89%, which was in the "very good" category. Meanwhile, student responses to large-scale implementation received a percentage of 93%, which was in the "very good" category. The level of effectiveness of teaching materials on social arithmetic material based on Smart Apps Creator with the help of Kahoot was obtained from the pretest and posttest by getting an effect size score of 1.28, which is in the "strong effect" criteria, which means the use of teaching materials on social arithmetic material based on Smart Apps Creator assisted by Kahoot has a high effect in exploring students' mathematical representation abilities.ID
