Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Berbantuan Geogebra Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Pada Materi Limas
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the impact of the Discovery Learning model supported by Geogebra on students' creative thinking skills in pyramid material. The approach applied in this research is quantitative using experimental methods. The data collection method in this research uses tests to measure creative thinking abilities. The population in this study includes all class VII students at SMPN 19 Tasikmalaya, while the sample consists of 62 students taken from 2 classes using a simple random sampling method. The data analysis method applied is non-parametric analysis using the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the research show that there are significant differences between classes that apply the Discovery Learning model with the help of Geogebra and classes that apply the Discovery Learning model without the help of Geogebra. The mean rank value for classes that use Geogebra assistance is 43.64, while for classes that do not use Geogebra assistance is 17.05. This difference shows that the Discovery Learning model supported by Geogebra has an effect on students' creative thinking abilities in pyramid material. The creative thinking abilities of students in classes that apply the Discovery Learning model with the help of Geogebra show that there are 4 students in the low category (12.5%), 7 students in the medium category (21.9%), and 21 students in the high category (65, 6%). The average score in the class that applies the Discovery Learning model with the help of Geogebra is 80.88, which shows that the students' creative thinking abilities in that class are relatively high.
