KOMPARASI METODE PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEANING DENGAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERFIKIR KREATIF SISWA KELAS XI IPS SMAN 7 TASIKMALAYA

Abstract


The focus of this research is the low ability of students' Creative Thinking in Economics subject. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' Creative Thinking abilities through the application of the PjBL learning model with PBL. This study uses a Quasi Experiment with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all students of class XI IPS SMAN 7 Tasikmalaya as many as 207 students. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling technique with 2 experimental classes (PjBL and PBL) and 1 control class (conventional) with a total sample of 107 students. The technique of collecting data is by testing essay questions as many as 10 questions. Data processing by testing the hypothesis using the Paired Sample T-test & Independent Sample T-test. Test the hypothesis of differences in students' creative thinking abilities in the experimental class (PjBL and PBL) and the control class (conventional) before and after treatment obtained a value of Sig 0.000 <0.05 there is a difference between. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the increase in creative thinking abilities in experimental class and control class after treatment. Thus, the implications of applying the PjBL and PBL models have increased more compared to the conventional model. Implementing PjBL and PBL can be used as an alternative learning model that can be used in an effort to improve students' creative thinking skills.
