THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHER COMPETENCY ON LEARNING OUTCOMES IN ECONOMICS SUBJECTS (Survey on X-XI IPS Students of SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya Academic Year 2021/2022)

Abstract


The problem in this research is that there are problems for a teacher which can be seen from the low student learning outcomes, which can be seen in the PAS scores which are still below the KKM. The research method uses quantitative with survey design. The data population in this study was students in classes X-XI IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya, totaling 215 people. The sampling used was stratified sampling (stratified sampling). The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using the normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, using multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination test, t test and f test. The results of the research show that 1) There is a positive and significant influence of pedagogical competence on the learning outcomes of social studies students in classes X-XI at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya City. 2) There is a positive and significant influence of professional competence on the learning outcomes of social studies students in classes X-XI at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya City. 3) There is a positive and significant influence of social competence on the learning outcomes of social studies students in classes X-XI at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya City. 4) There is a positive and significant influence of personality competence on the learning outcomes of social studies students in classes X-XI at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya City.
