Abstract


Critical thinking is one of the high-level thought processes are always learners experiencing difficulties in its solution. Likewise, there are internal factors of learners themselves, one of which is a system of the brain, divided into system left brain and right brain. In that regard, it is necessary to analyze the structure of learners' thinking brain dominance is reviewed in the completion of the test the ability of critical thinking. This study aims to: (1) Describe the structure of thinking learners in solving mathematical test critical thinking skills by left-brain dominance, (2) Describe the structure of thinking learners in solving mathematical test critical thinking skills by brain dominance balanced, (3) Describe the structure of thinking learners in solving mathematical test critical thinking skills by the right brain dominance. This study uses descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that (1)Structure think learners are left brain dominant indicates that learners can answer questions with regular, parse analysis, can make interpretation of abstraction. (2) Structure think learners to dominate balanced show answers learners regularly and use logic. learners are also able to think creatively to find the answers that are different from other learners. and (3) Structure of thinking learners dominant right brain does not respond in detail evidenced by the many structures of thinking elapsed.
