PERBANDINGAN PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN MATEMATIK PESERTA DIDIK ANTARA YANG MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STRUCTURED NUMBERED HEADS (SNH) DENGAN PAIR CHECK

Abstract


The purpose of this research were to know increasing students’ understanding of mathematics ability which better between who used SNH (Structured Numbered Heads)  learning model with Pair Check and to know students’ self-efficacy who used the both of learning models. The research method was used is quasi-experimental method. The population is VII grade students of MTs Darul Amira Cihaurbeuti Ciamis. The samples were taken two classes by random sampling technique, those are VII B  who used SNH (Structured Numbered Heads) learning model and VII A who used Pair Check  model. The data collecting technique are mathematical understanding of mathematics ability test and give self-efficacy quesionare. The research instrument was used are mathematical understanding of mathematics ability question and self-efficacy quesionare. The data analisys technique was used to test the hypotheses is t-test and to answer research question’s is analisys result of research quesionare. Based on data analisys result was got conclution those increasing student’ understanding of mathematics ability who used SNH (Structured Numbered Heads) learning model better than who used Pair Check model and students’ self-efficacy who used SNH (Structured Numbered Heads) learning model and who used Pair Check  model included high criteria.
