SELF EFFICACY SISWA KELAS XI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SMKS SUKAPURA

Abstract


This study aims to determine the self efficacy of class XI students in mathematics learning. The method of this research is the survey method. Data were obtained using non-test instruments in the form of self efficacy questionnaires consisting of 20 validated statements. The results showed that First, students' mathematical self efficacy criteria in mathematics learning had positive criteria with a calculated average above the median of 3, both dimensions of magnitude, strength, and generality. Second, the level of mathematical self-efficacy of students in mathematics learning with an average overall score of 62 is at a moderate level, meaning that students can still overcome their learning difficulties, have confidence in overcoming difficulties, and self-confidence can continue to apply in various situations by continuing convinced and guided by the teacher. Third, categorizing self efficacy in mathematics learning consisted of 7 students with high self efficacy (35%), 6 students with moderate self efficacy (30%), and 7 self-efficacy students (35%).
