Analisis Kesulitan Belajar dengan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematik Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing

Abstract


This study aims to find out to find out the difficulties experienced by students in mathematical problem solving questions and to find out the improvement of mathematical problem solving abilities of students using the Guided Inquiry learning model. Besides knowing the steps where students have difficulty in solving mathematical problem solving questions. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive research methods. The subject chosen by selecting purposive sampling. Subjects in this study were students of Ciamis High School in class XI as many as 9 students, namely 3 high-ability students, three moderate-capable students and 3 low-ability students. The test instrument in this study used a description test question of 5 problem solving questions and to obtain accurate results an interview test was conducted on the subject under study. The results of the analysis show the difficulties experienced by students in solving problem solving problems with 4 stages according to Polya, especially in the fourth stage, namely checking the results and the results of the second analysis showing an increase in students' problem solving abilities through guided inquiry learning models.
