ANALISIS DISPOSISI MATEMATIK PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA PADA MATERI STATISTIKA DI MTsN 11 TASIKMALAYA

Abstract


This study aims to explore and analyze the mathematical dispositions of VII-G class students in mathematics learning in statistical material at Tasikmalaya 11 MTsN. This research method is descriptive quantitative method. Data were obtained using non-test instruments in the form of mathematical disposition questionnaires consisting of 26 validated statements. The results showed that first, the mathematical disposition criteria of students in mathematics learning in statistical material had positive criteria with a median count above the median of 3, both indicators of selfconfidence, flexibility, diligent work on mathematical tasks, curiosity, reflecting the results of work with his own mind, passionate and serious attention in learning mathematics and sharing opinions with others. Second, the mathematical disposition level of students in mathematics learning in statistical material with an average overall score of 73.2% is at a high disposition level, meaning that students have a strong desire, awareness, and dedication to think and do mathematically with positive way and based on faith, piety and noble character. Third, the categorization of mathematical dispositions in mathematics learning consists of students with high mathematical dispositions of 11 people (42.3%), students with moderate mathematical dispositions as many as 6 people (23.08%), and students with low mathematical dispositions as much as 9 people (34.62%).
