Abstract

This research aims to know the ability of mathematical representation by the students using the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model to reach the learning mastery in classical, student’s self-efficacy by using the  Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model, and the difference in the ability of mathematical representation is viewed from the students' self-efficacy by using the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model. The method use in this research is pre-eksperimental design with one-shot case study. The population involved in this research is VII grader of SMP Negeri 13 Tasikmalaya. The samples has been chosen randomly, which is class VII-I. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the mathematical representation ability of students using the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model achieve learning mastery in classical, the self-efficacy of students using the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model included in the high criteria, there are difference of mathematical representation ability is viewed from the students' selfefficacy by using the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model, and there is a significant difference in the ability of mathematical representation between students who have high self-efficacy and low self-efficacy.
