MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DAN AKTIVITAS SISWA DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to improve the activity and learning outcomes of mathematics by using discovery learning models. The subjects of this study were X Multimedia class students as many as 35 people with diverse backgrounds, social levels and academic abilities. This research was conducted in one of the Vocational Schools in Ciamis Regency. The time for conducting research is in the first semester of the school year 2017/2018. Assessment of student activity and teacher activity is carried out by an observer using an observation sheet at each meeting. Learning outcome assessments are held at the end of each cycle through a written test. The results of the study are as follows: (1) an increase in the average score of activeness of students in the first cycle of 2,73 increased in second cycle to 3,0; (2) an increase in student learning outcomes in the form of test scores in first cycle reached an average of 72,34 with completeness of 60%, increased in second cycle to an average of 81,0 with a percentage of completeness of 77,14%.
