PERSEPSI GURU MATEMATIKA DI KABUPATEN PANDEGLANG TERHADAP BUKU SISWA KURIKULUM 2013 MENURUT KRITERIA BELL

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to describe the perceptions of mathematics teachers in Pandeglang District on student books reviewed based on material feasibility, physical feasibility, and the feasibility of teacher instruction according to Bell criteria. The subjects of this study were junior high school mathematics teachers in the Pandeglang District Education Office while the objects in this study were mathematical textbooks for students of Curriculum 2013 Class IX published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in 2018. The research began on November 9, 2018 until the date January 12, 2019. Sampling is selected by purposive sampling and data collection techniques are triangulated (combined) and the data analysis is qualitative. Based on data analysis that has been carried out on the perception of mathematics teachers in Pandeglang District on student books in terms of material feasibility, physical feasibility, and the feasibility of teacher instructions according to Bell criteria published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in 2018 can be summarized as follows: (1) Teacher's perception the student book in terms of the material feasibility is included in the excellent category; (2) The teacher's perception of the student's book in terms of the feasibility of presenting the material is included in the good category; (3) The teacher's perception of the student's book in terms of physical feasibility is included in the good category; (4) Teachers 'perceptions of students' books are reviewed based on the teacher's instruction eligibility included in the excellent category.
