KEMAMPUAN DAN PROSES BERPIKIR REFLEKTIF MATEMATIK PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TREFFINGER

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the ability of mathematical reflective thinking students who use the Treffinger learning model, student learning activities, and the mathematical thinking process of students in solving mathematical reflective thinking skills. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with the pre-experimental design method. The population is all students of class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Cisayong, the sample is taken one class randomly, taken class VII H using the Treffinger learning model. Data collection techniques test the ability of mathematical reflective thinking and observation sheets of learning activities of students. The research instruments used were the test questions of mathematical reflective thinking skills and observation sheets of learning activities of students. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is to test the proportion of one party and to answer the research question, namely the analysis of the observation sheet of learning activities of students from the results of research and analysis of the thinking process from the results of the answers to students' solutions. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that students 'mathematical reflective thinking ability by applying Treffinger's learning model achieved classical learning completeness, learning activities of students using Treffinger's learning model included in the active category and students' mathematical thinking process using Treffinger's highly capable learning model that is included in the conceptual thinking process, mathematical thinking processes that are capable of being included into the semi-conceptual thinking process and low-ability mathematical thinking processes are included in the semi-conceptual and computational thinking processes.
