Pendekatan Non Parametik: Apakah Industri Penerbangan Indonesia Sudah Efisien?

Abstract


The aviation industry is one of the industries engaged in the service sector, as well as air transportation which has a high level of effectiveness in time compared to several other types of transportation. The development of the Indonesian aviation industry has increased quite rapidly, and this can be seen from the birth of several airlines. However, the operational activities of these airlines are highly dependent on the availability of adequate resources. On the other hand, the availability of resources is decreasing every time. So that, to achieve good operational activities and no less important is the aspect of efficiency in it. The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of the aviation industry in Indonesia by referring to several selected airlines during the 2017-2021 period. The data used in the research is secondary data of the time series type collected from each organizer's publication. The analytical method used is data envelopment analysis (DEA) oriented to the input and output level. The results of this study indicate that during the analysis period, Indonesian airlines have reached the efficiency stage with a relative efficiency score of 1.

Industri penerbangan adalah salah satu industri yang bergerak di bidang jasa, serta transportasi udara memiliki tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi dalam hal waktu dari beberapa jenis transportasi lainnya. Perkembangan industri penerbangan Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yang cukup pesat, hal ini ditinjau dari lahirnya beberapa maskapai penerbangan. Akan tetapi, Kegiatan operasional maskapai-maskapai tersebut sangat bergantung terhadap ketersediaan sumber daya yang. Di sisi lain ketersediaan sumber daya semakin mengalami penyusutan setiap waktunya. Sehingga untuk mencapai kegiatan operasional yang baik dan berkelanjutan diperlukan aspek efisiensi di dalamnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis terkait efisiensi industri penerbangan di Indonesia merujuk pada beberapa maskapai yang dipilih selama rentang periode 2017-2021. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder berjenis runtun waktu yang dihimpun dari setiap publikasi maskapai. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah data envelopment analysis (DEA) yang berorientasi pada tingkat input dan output. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa selama rentang periode analisis maskapai penerbangan Indonesia sudah mencapai tahap efisiensi dengan skor efisiensi relatif berada di angka 1.
