PENGARUH APLIKASI SETERRA TERHADAP HAFALAN PETA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII DI MTs MATHLA’UL ANWAR 2 KOTA BOGOR

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of the Seterra application on memorization of maps for students of class VIII at MTs Mathla'ul Anwar 2, Bogor City. The research method used is a quantitative approach and the Quasi Experiment method. The design of the study used the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The sample used was class VIII.B students with 25 students and class VIII.C with 25 students, the sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collected using the test, observation and interview methods. The test instruments used include multiple choice tests. The data collected was analyzed using the Independent Sample T-test analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, tcount> ttable (3,080> 1,677) and Sig (2-tailed) <0.05 (0.003 <0.05), which means that it meets the test criteria that if tcount> ttable and Sig (2-tailed) ) <0.05 then H0 is rejected. There is an increase in the average memorization of the map students in the experimental class, from the average pretest 67.36 to 81.36 on the posttest average. Thus the Seterra application media affects the results of memorization maps for students of class VIII.C at MTs Mathla'ul Anwar 2 Bogor City
