Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical creative thinking skills in terms of logical mathematical intelligence and linguistic intelligence. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques in this study were giving a mathematical creative thinking ability test, distributing mathematical logical intelligence questionnaires, linguistic intelligence questionnaires and unstructured interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was found that: (a) the subject of S20 in the category of low mathematical logical intelligence was at creative thinking ability level 1 (less creative), the subject of S20 was able to work on the creative thinking ability test correctly on the fluency indicator. Subject S15 in the category of logical mathematical intelligence is at creative thinking ability level 2 (creative enough), subject S15 can do creative thinking ability test questions correctly on the flexibility indicator, while subject S14 in the category of high mathematical logical intelligence is at the level of creative thinking ability 4 (very creative), the subject of S14 can work on the creative thinking ability test questions correctly on all indicators. (b) Subject S25 in the category of low linguistic intelligence is at creative thinking ability level 1 (less creative), subject S25 can work on creative thinking ability test questions correctly on fluency indicators and subject S5 in studentlinguistic intelligence category is at thinking ability level 2 (creative enough), S5 subjects can only do creative thinking ability test questions correctly, namely on the flexibility indicator, while in the high linguistic intelligence category it is at creative thinking ability level 3 (creative), S11 subjects can work on creative thinking ability test questions correctly on the indicators of fluency and flexibility.
