Efektivitas self affirmation matematis atas pemahaman konsep matematis dengan penguatan habits of striving for accuracy and precision

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematical self-affirmation on understanding mathematical concepts by strengthening habits of striving for accuracy and precision. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMAN 12 Tangerang with a research sample of class XI MIPA, the sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were a mathematical self affirmation questionnaire, a questionnaire on habits of striving for accuracy and precision and a test for understanding mathematical concepts. The data analysis technique used inferential statistics with interaction test. Based on the hypothesis test regarding the effectiveness of mathematical self affirmation on understanding mathematical concepts by strengthening habits of striving for accuracy and precision, it can be concluded that mathematical self affirmation affects understanding of mathematical concepts and habits of striving for accuracy and precision strengthens the effectiviness of mathematical self-affirmation on understanding mathematical concepts.
