Analisis Kemampuan Penalaran Deduktif Matematis Peserta Didik Ditinjau dari Kecerdasan Logis Matematis
Abstract
This study aims to analyze students' mathematical deductive reasoning abilities in terms of mathematical logical intelligence. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study were distributing logical-mathematical intelligence questionnaires, giving tests of mathematical deductive reasoning abilities, interviews. The research instrument consisted of researchers, mathematical logical intelligence questionnaires, tests of mathematical deductive reasoning abilities, interviews. The source of the data in this study was the place where the research was carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya, the actors in this study were students in class XI MIPA 7, and the activities in this study the researcher gave a logical mathematical intelligence questionnaire, gave questions about mathematical deductive reasoning ability tests, and conducted interviews to find out how each subject of each category of logical-mathematical intelligence in working on questions of mathematical deductive reasoning ability. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that (a) Mathematical deductive reasoning ability in terms of high mathematical logical intelligence S-8 has characteristics of liking arithmetical activities, S-8 can work on tests of mathematical deductive reasoning ability correctly on all indicators of mathematical deductive reasoning ability. (b) Mathematical deductive reasoning ability in terms of logical intelligence while Master's-2 has characteristics of being able to solve problems according to planning and does not use logical thinking, Master's-2 can work on tests of mathematical deductive reasoning ability only until the indicator arranges direct proof. (c) Mathematical deductive reasoning ability in terms of low mathematical logical intelligence S-4 has the characteristics of tending to do as it is, S-4 can work on tests of mathematical deductive reasoning ability only until the indicator compiles a valid argument.
