Evaluasi Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Siswa Berdasarkan Disposisi Matematis

Abstract


The aims of this research is to describe how the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students are evaluated by considering mathematical dispositions. The research method applied is an experiment, with the population consisting of all students in class VI B SMPN 1 Cihaurbeuti. Six students representing high, medium, and low academic achievments indices were selected as samples, and then reselected to have 3 participants willing to be interviewed. The data collection techniques were through the distribution of mathematical disposition questionnaires and the mathematical critical thinking ability tests. The research instruments consisted of mathematical disposition questionnaires and mathematical critical thinking ability tests. The results of data analysis show that students’ mathematical critical thinking abilities, when viewed from mathematical dispositions, included in high category.
