PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS X SMKN 1 KAWALI

Abstract


This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve learning outcomes and learning activities of class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Kawali 2018/2019 academic year through the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. This research was conducted collaboratively and participatively in two cycles. Data collection in this study was conducted using participant observation and written tests. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the subject matter of the system of linear equations two variables and learning activities of students on mathematics subjects. This is supported by research data which shows that there is an increase in the percentage of completeness tests on Mathematics learning outcomes. During the pre-study, the completeness of students was only 39%, after the first cycle was conducted with the Jigsaw cooperative learning model the percentage of completeness of student learning achievement was 67% with an average completeness reaching 73.75, then in the cycle II action, the completeness of learning outcomes reached 89% with an average of 81.11. The application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model can also increase the learning activities of class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Kawali 2018/2019 Academic Year. In the first cycle the learning activities of students get a final score of 65%, meaning that the learning activities of students are in good criteria. In the second cycle the final score of student learning activities reached 88% so it was in very good criteria.
