Author Guidelines

Jurnal Agristan is a scientific journal that is published regularly with the scope of Agribusiness, Agricultural Sociology, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Development, Agricultural Extension. Journal of Agristan will accept and publish journals based on several criteria, namely:

  1. The manuscript is the result of research/study in the fields of Agribusiness, Agricultural Sociology, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Development, Agricultural Extension. Manuscripts should have a novelty or unique contribution to academic development (science) or real-life application or both.

  2. The manuscript contains original research/study work, free from plagiarism and other non-ethical attitudes.

  3. At the time of submitting the manuscript, the author must ensure that the manuscript has not been or is not currently in the process of being published in another periodical journal.

 

General Provisions for Manuscripts/Articles:

  1. Written with Microsoft Office Word
  2. Use Arial font size 11 spaced 1.5 pt
  3. Article in Indonesian
  4. Refer to the Manuscript Writing Guidelines
  5. The required number of pages is between 10-25 pages
  6. References used in writing journal articles at least 80% are primary sources in the form of research journal articles no more than the last 10 years.

Article Manuscript Writing Format

FRONT PAGE

Title, The title is written clearly, concisely, informatively, describing the substance or content of the writing. Written in big and bold letters using Arial font size 12. The number of words in the title is not more than 20 words.

Author, contains the name (without title and without abbreviation), the author's institution and the correspondence address of the author.

Abstract, contains the background of the research, research methods used, results and implications/conclusions written in Indonesian. The number of words in the abstract is not more than 250 words.

PAGE CONTENTS

Manuscripts or articles must have a minimum of 10 pages and a maximum of 25 pages. The manuscript or article file is in the form of Microsoft Word (.docx), A4 (21 x 29.7 cm), 1.5 cm spacing, using Arial font size 11 and the letters on the table are size 10.

Introduction, describes the background of the research conducted, literature review and research objectives.

Research Methods, explaining the place and time of research, types of research, research variables, sampling techniques, data collection techniques and data analysis design.

Results and Discussion, presents the results of the study. The research results can be supplemented with tables, graphs, (pictures), and/or charts. The discussion section provides an explanation of the results of data processing. 

Conclusion, contains a brief summary of the results of research and discussion.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS (If any)

It is a form of appreciation to all parties (agencies or individuals) who contribute or assist in funding and conducting research.

REFERENCES

It is a source of reference/reference that is used as a quote for writing a research article/script. References used in writing journal articles at least 80% are primary sources in the form of research journal articles for the last 10 years.


 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors who publish articles in Jurnal Agristan agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright of the article and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a CC-BY-SA or The Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike License.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will not be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.
