Analisis Proses Berpikir Kritis Matematis Peserta Didik Berdasarkan Gaya Belajar Honey-Mumford

Abstract


This study aims to describe the mathematical critical thinking process of students based on the Honey-Mumford learning style. Using qualitative descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques are Learning Style Questionnaire (LSQ), mathematical critical thinking tests, and interviews. The data sources of this study were 4 students of class VIII-B of SMP Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya from the Honey-Mumford learning style type, namely activist, reflector, theorist, and pragmatic. The research data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that (1) The mathematical critical thinking process of S-10A activist type students was able to complete all stages, namely classification, assessment, inference, and strategy. (2) The mathematical critical thinking process of the reflector type S-8R students is only able to complete three stages, namely classification, assessment, and inference. (3) The mathematical critical thinking process of theoretical type S-15T students is only able to complete three stages, namely classification, assessment, and inference. (4) The mathematical critical thinking process of pragmatic S-6P students is able to complete all stages, namely classification, assessment, inference, and strategy.
