Keefektifan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Dimulai dengan Pertanyaan terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematika Peserta Didik

Abstract


This study aims to assess the creative thinking skills of students in mathematics by investigating their engagement with the "learning start with a question" model and its effectiveness in enhancing their mathematical creative thinking abilities. The research utilizes an experimental approach, employing a one-shot case study research design. The study population comprises all 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya, with a sample selected from 11 MIPA 7 students using a simple random sampling technique. The assessment instrument employed is a descriptive test measuring students' mathematical and creative thinking abilities. Data analysis involves descriptive statistics, including the analysis and measurement of students' mathematical creative thinking abilities using IBM SPSS Statistics 24 and manual calculations. The normality test employs the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, followed by the one-sample t-test for proper side testing. Based on the data analysis results, it can be concluded that students' mathematical creative thinking abilities, when using the "learning start with a question" model, fall within the "good" category. The utilization of this instructional model proves effective in enhancing students' mathematical creative thinking abilities.
