Efektivitas Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Prediction, Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write And Evaluation Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Peserta Didik
Abstract
The aim of this research is to identify misconceptions that occur among students and explore the causes of these misconceptions in the three-variable linear equation system material. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with an exploratory approach. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua in class X-G consisting of 32 students. The subjects of this research were chosen purposively, namely 4 students from class X-G of SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua. Data collection techniques include a misconception analysis test equipped with the Modified Certainty of Response Index (CRI) and interviews. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) S12 experiences misconceptions in classification and correlation, S15 experiences classificational, correlational and theoretical misconceptions, S25 experiences correlational misconceptions, and S32 experiences theoretical and classificational misconceptions. (2) The causes of misconceptions involve preconceptions, students' associative thinking, incomplete or wrong reasoning, wrong intuition, students' abilities, and students' learning interests.
