EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN METODE LEARNING START WITH A QUESTION TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN ANALISIS DAN SINTESIS MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract


This study aims to determine the mathematical analysis and synthesis abilities of students using the Start With a Question method, as well as the effectiveness of the application of the Learning Start With a Question method to the students' analytical skills and mathematical synthesis. The research method used is quantitative research with experimental methods. Data collection techniques used are carrying out tests of mathematical analysis and synthesis abilities. The population in this study were all seventh grade students in SMP Negeri 17 Tasikmalaya consisting of 8 classes. The sample was selected using simple random sampling, selected class VII-C with 32 students. Data analysis techniques used to test hypotheses by testing the proportion of the right. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it was concluded that the mathematical analysis abilities of students using the Learning Start With a Question method included in the category were very good, the mathematical synthesis ability of students using the Learning Start With a Question method was included in the excellent category. Overall the analytical skills and mathematical synthesis of students can be categorized into very good categories. And the application of the Learning Start With a Question method is effective for students' analytical skills and mathematical synthesis
