Profil Keterampilan Proses Sains Mahasiswa Calon Guru Fisika: Analisis Proyek Pengamatan Sunspot dalam Pembelajaran IPBA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi profil Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa calon guru fisika semester 1 Universitas Siliwangi yang mengontrak mata kuliah IPBA. Sejumlah 88 mahasiswa melaksanakan projek pengamatan sunspot secara online dan kemudian membuat laporan pengamatan. Laporan tersebut digunakan peneliti sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur KPS mahasiswa. Indikator KPS yang diukur adalah keterampilan mengamati, mengukur, mengkonstruk tabel, serta memperoleh dan mengolah data. Data KPS yang telah dinilai kemudian diinterpretasikan ke dalam kategori sangat tinggi, tinggi, rendah, dan sangat rendah. Kemudian persentase mahasiswa yang berada pada setiap kategori dihitung sebagai pemetaan profil KPS mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa calon guru fisika semester 1 pada projek pengamatan matahari sebanyak 68,75% memiliki KPS pada kategori sangat tinggi, 8,9% pada kategori tinggi, 10,16% pada kategori rendah, dan 12,5% pada kategori sangat rendah.
