ANALISIS UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN PROFITABILITAS (Survey pada PT Sekar Bumi Tbk)

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to analyze the large-scale Company Size of Return On Assets at PT Sekar Bumi Tbk Period 2011-2018. This type of research used in this research is quantitative research with explanatory methods. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method by requesting data from PT Sekar Bumi Tbk's financial statements for the period 2011-2018. Statistical analysis to determine the comparison and hypothesis testing using the product moment method. Based on the analysis results, the Company Size and Return On Assets of PT Sekar Bumi Tbk for the period 2008-2017 used fluctuating efficiency. The size of the Company's Size contribution to Return On Assets at PT Sekar Bumi Tbk was 10.80%. From the results of hypothesis testing with Sig. 0.428> α (0.05), it can be concluded that the size of the company against return of assets in PT Sekar Bumi Tbk is not significant

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis besar pengaruh Firm Size terhadap Return On Asset pada PT Sekar Bumi Tbk Periode 2011-2018. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanatori. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan perolehan data dari laporan keuangan PT Sekar Bumi Tbk periode 2011-2018. Analisis statistik untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh dan uji hipotesis menggunakan product moment method. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, Firm Size dan Return On Asset PT Sekar Bumi Tbk periode 2008-2017 cenderung mengalami fluktuatif. Besarnya kontribusi pengaruh Firm Size terhadap Return On Asset pada PT Sekar Bumi Tbk sebesar 10,80%. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan nilai Sig. 0.428 > α (0,05) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Firm Size terhadap Return On Asset pada PT Sekar Bumi Tbk tidak signifikan.
