Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of Jurnal Metaedukasi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan must be

  1. Written in Indonesia.
  2. The author's name should be accompanied by a complete affiliation address and corresponding email.
  3. The length of the submitted paper is at least 6 pages and no more than 12 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 12 pages.
  4. Use a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style edition 7th.
  5. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the Jurnal Metaedukasi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of paper typing in sentence case, without Acronym or abbreviation, case study
  2. Abstract. Written briefly in English and Indonesian in one paragraph of 200-250 WORDSNo citation; State in the abstract a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes, and results, and the conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: 
    Introduction
     - The introduction should include the main purpose of the article, the background of the issue/problem, and the urgency of the research. The urgency of the research refers to the questions, “Why is the general issue important? Why does the topic need to be researched? What are the relevant suggestions based on previous research on a particular topic?”. Provide a gap analysis, namely the gap between the theory or results of previous research and the current or expected situation.
    Method - The research method contains an explanation in the form of paragraphs covering the research approach, type of research, subjects or respondents, implementation procedures, use of research instruments, data collection and analysis techniques in obtaining research results.
    Results and Discussion - Research results can be presented in the form of tables, graphs, images, verbal descriptions, and/or a combination of these to clarify the research results. The discussion contains an explanation of what the results mean and their implications for future studies, with the intention of interpreting and giving meaning to the research results according to the theory used but not just explaining the findings. Connect the results to the questions asked in the introduction.
    Conclusion - The conclusion is written concisely, briefly, and clearly in one paragraph. The content of the conclusion is a summary of the results and discussion including what arguments or claims you put forward. The answer to the purpose of the research or publication is how the arguments or claims answer the purpose of further research, such as what are the implications of this research (theoretical, methodological, or practical implications). If there are suggestions from research related to the research results for further research based on the results of the updates found, they can be conveyed briefly and clearly at the end of the paragraph.

  4. Acknowledgement- Acknowledgements contain the appreciation given by the author to the parties who have contributed to the research, either in the form of financial assistance, permits, consultants, and assistance in obtaining data. Names that are already listed as authors in the article are not allowed to appear again in this section.
  5. References. Mandatory references used are at least 10. The percentage of reference materials used is 60% from journal articles, conference proceedings or research results from the last ten (10) years. Reference writing uses APA 7th edition.

    The article could be submitted online by register as an author.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor
  2. The article adheres to the Author Guidelines. The submission file using the "Jurnal Metaedukasi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan" template is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  3. References have been accompanied by DOI or URLs if available online and cited using the reference tool (such as Endnote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc.)
  4. This article has been confirmed to have no conflicts of interest, and all authors in this article agree to process in Jurnal Metaedukasi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan.
  5. This article has been through a plagiarism check with a responsible application and is declared not to exceed the "Jurnal Metaedukasi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan" limits.
 

Copyright Notice

The following criteria are agreed upon by authors who submit articles to the Jurnal Metaedukasi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan:

  1. The author retains copyright and grants the journal rights for the first publication. Meanwhile, the work is licensed under The Creative Commons Attribution “ShareAlike 4.0 International License
    (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits others to share the work with the acknowledgment of the authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors have the option to establish distinct contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published journal version of the work, such as posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book, with the acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to publish their work online (e.g., on their websites or in institutional repositories) prior to and during the submission process. This practice can result in productive exchange and earlier and more extensive citation of the published work.
