PENERAPAN MODEL LATIHAN INTERVAL TRAINING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AEROBIC CAPACITY PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN KEPELATIHAN OLAHRAGA FKIP UNIVERSITAS RIAU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas latihan interval terhadap peningkatan kapasitas aerobik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, dengan desain One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa angkatan 2020 Jurusan Pendidikan Olahraga Prodi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga FKIP UNRI Kelas A sebanyak 27 orang. Dalam penelitian ini penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling, maksudnya adalah semua populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel yaitu sebanyak 27 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Multistage Fitness Test. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan interval training efektif untuk meningkatkan kapasitas aerobik berdasarkan hasil nilai hitung atau thit : 4.84 > ttabel : 1.70. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan interval trainng memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kapasitas aerobik pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga FKIP UNRI.
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of interval training on increasing aerobic capacity. The method used in this research is an experiment with One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population in this study was the entire class of 2020, Department of Sports Education, Sport Training Education Study Program, FKIP UNRI Class A as many as 27 people. In this study, the sample was drawn using a total sampling technique, meaning that all the population was used as a sample, namely as many as 27 people. The instrument in this study used the Multistage Fitness Test. Then the data were analyzed using t-test. The results showed that interval training is effective for increasing aerobic capacity based on the results of the arithmetic value or T count: 4.84 > T table: 1.70. So it can be said that interval training has a significant effect on increasing aerobic capacity in students of Sport Training Education FKIP UNRI.              Â
