Efektivitas E-Magazine Materi Pewarisan Sifat Terintegrasi Keislaman Terhadap HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) Peserta Didik

Abstract


HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) ialah salah satu aspek keterampilan yang mendasar di abad ke 21. Proses pembelajaran dalam pendidikan mengharuskan peserta didik berpikir kritis atau HOTS. Sehingga diharapkan dapat menghadapi tantangan-tantangan di masa depan. Namun, pada faktanya keterampilan berpikir peserta didik masih rendah, hasil survei PISA menempatkan Indonesia berada di urutan ke-74. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemanfaatan media e-magazine pewarisan sifat terintegrasi keislaman terhadap HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) peserta didik dalam ranah kognitif kemampuan menganalisis dan menilai. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji skor N-gain. Penelitian dilakukan di MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas IX C yang dilaksanakan dari bulan September sampai Oktober 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media e-magazine materi pewarisan sifat terintegrasi keislaman meningkatkan HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) peserta didik dimana hasil N-gain pada indikator menganalisis sebesar 0,72 kategori “Tinggiâ€, dan indikator mengevaluasi sebesar 0,71 kategori “Tinggiâ€.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills are one of the basic skills in the 21st century. The learning process in education requires students to think critically or HOTS so that it is expected to face challenges in the future. However, the thinking skills of students are still low. The results of the PISA survey put Indonesia in 74th place. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of e-magazine media on the inheritance of integrated Islamic traits on students' higher-order thinking skills in the cognitive domain of analyzing and evaluation. The data analysis technique is in the form of quantitative analysis using the N-gain score test. The research was conducted at MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya with research subjects of class IX C students, which was carried out from September to October 2021. The results showed that the e-magazine media material for the inheritance of integrated Islamic traits was able to improve students' higher-order thinking skills were the results of N- the gain on the analyzing indicator is 0.72 in the "High" category, and the indicator evaluates 0.71 in the "High" category.
